Lebanese singer Pascal Mashaalani has recently agreed to play the character of a resistance fighter’s daughter who lives in Egypt and Lebanon. The Israeli forces kill her mother and her fiancée is jailed in an Israeli prison.

“I previously refused many roles offered to me, but I admire this role very much…I consulted many of my friends, who advised me to take it, in addition to the fact that it is a good production,” the artist told the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai Al A’m.

The film includes romantic situations and shows in which Mashaalani sings five songs. Lebanese actor Ahmed Al Zein performs the role of the father, alongside a number of Egyptian actors. The film is directed by the Egyptian Hamed Al Said and produced by the Al Shua’a Company.

“My behavior is the same in both ordinary and work life, and I like spontaneity. Acting experts say that a spontaneous person succeeds as an actor,” added Mashaalani -
