A fight broke out on the set of the upcoming television drama “Muntaha al Ishq” (Extreme Desire) between the some of the minor actors and the producers of the drama. The fight became physical leading to throwing of objects like chairs at each other.

According to the London based Elaph, Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar who plays the leading role in the drama had to interfere and break up the fight and force the two sides to make up and set aside their differences. In addition the singer invited the entire crew, which included the actors and makers of the drama, out to lunch.

The argument began when the producers of the drama asked of the minor actors who played the role of the Bedouins that were the leading actress’s family, which is played by Jordanian singer Diana Karazone, to come early to film their scenes. The actors made it a point to be at the set of the drama as early as 6 am, but they just kept waiting until 1 am of the next day without food or drink leading them to become overly exhausted and outraged. When the producers asked them to be prepared to film their scenes the fight broke out.

Only after the singer interfered did they agree to break up the fight and film their scenes. The drama “Muntaha al Ishq” is written by Mohammad al Ghayti and directed by Mohammad Al Najar. It stars Mustafa Amar, Diana Karazone, Nihal Anbar, Sawsan Badr, Rania Fareed Shawqi, Abeer Sabri, Rania Mahmoumd Yasin, Aydah Riyadh, Mina Fadaly, Intisar, Lutfi Labeeb, Khaled Mahmoud, Amirah Al Aydi and Maha Ahmad.
