The longest running urban specialist night in Dubai brings the ‘Love Is Blind’ singer Ramzi back home to the Middle East. Smooth Grooves at The Apartment Club + Lounge celebrates its 4th birthday bash in style on June 19th 2009.
Giving back to their loyal Smooth Groovin’ revellers, the special night will showcase the first ever live performance in the Middle East of the newest and biggest R&B sensation coming out of the UK, Ramzi. With official support from Radio 1, MTV Arabiya, Virgin Megastore and his record label EMI Music Arabia, Friday June 19th at The Apartment is tipped to be the hottest urban club birthday party this year!
Based in London, UK, Ramzi will be revisiting his Middle Eastern roots and is excited to bring his music home. Capturing the hearts of his homeland, Ramzi’s debut album “Chapter One” was released on the 25th April 2009 by EMI Music Arabia. Fans and new lovers of his music are mesmerized by Ramzi’s massive first hit single ‘Love Is Blind’ which debuted on Radio 1’s Fusion Show with Humaid. Love Is Blind fuses English, Arabic and Hindi lyrics into a hit track, bridging the gap between World music and RnB. The album is packed with smash hit singles that stir emotions, ooze instrumental intelligence and deliver articulate lyrics.
Ramzi will be signing “Chapter One” albums at Virgin Megastore, Mall of the Emirates on Thursday June 18th at 7:00pm. Fans will see Ramzi perform acoustic songs from his album while getting the opportunity to get up close with the singer and take photographs with him.
