The winner of Star Academy 11 has finally been announced: Lebanese aspiring singer Marwan Youssef beat fellow contestants Naseem Raisi, Heidi Moussa and Mohammad Abbas to the title on Friday night.
With 55.4% of the vote, the handsome young fella will release his first music album, and receive $100 thousand USD courtesy of Toyota, as a well-deserved prize for winning the TV singing competition.
Another singer rocked the stage during the finale that evening. Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel Wahab sparkled in a silver glittery dress as she sang at the top of her lungs to an ecstatic live audience.
