Egyptian comedy star Samir Ghanem returns to the TV audience in the series Qit Wa Faar Five Stars (Cat, Mouse, Five Stars) in which he forms a duo with Wahid Seif, according to the Arabic daily Al Gomhuria.

“I have to put my touches in the series, costumes and accessories,” Ghanem told the daily adding that the strange glasses in the series were proposed by him.

Ghanem said that he interfered much in the roles he played and all welcomed that. “Even jokes are agreed upon and this applied also to Wahid Seif whom I form a wonderful duo with. Many stars including Madlin Tabar and Wafaa Makki have shown high comedy talents in acting that never appeared before. Every artist did his job very well,” added Ghanem.

Ghanem performs the roles of 25 characters in the series describing them as near to his heart. “But I like the episode in which I performed the role of the Chief along with Wahid Seif,” added Ghanem.

We play the role of two obstinate fruit dealers who challenge each other and face comedy situations to the extent that I had to stop many times during the series shooting because of laughing, Ghanem said.

“I am gearing up for a surprise for the TV, which is a series along with Dalal Abdel Aziz after a long sabbatical. The series is Sit Sittat Jannanu Farhat scripted by Majdi Al Abyari, the best comedy writer,” Ghanem added.

Abdel Aziz will play the role of one of the wives of a man married to six women. Each one of the wives will be found badly injured in the head. The husband is then discovered to be suffering from a psychological complex, which makes him hit his wives on the head -- Albawaba.com
