It wasn't long ago - January 2016 to be specific - that Egyptian singer Sandy quit showbiz.
At the time, the pretty blue-eyed starlet told her fans, "I, Sandy Adel Ahmed Hussain, have decided to quit showbiz, which has made me fall ill because of all its psychological pressures. I will not go back on my decision and I ask God for forgiveness for anything I have done wrong while being a star."
But if Sandy was so determined to quit the music industry, why did she just re-post one of her old singles on Facebook?

There's a rumor going that Sandy is currently hiding away in a Cairo recording studio, where she's preparing for a new single written by Ramadan Mohammed and composed by Mohammad Yahya.
Earlier today, another Egyptian superstar announced that she is calling it quits. Sherine Abdel Wahab told her fans that she is quitting showbusiness in all its forms and "will not be going back on her decision."
Old habits die hard, and the same goes for singing... or trying not to sing in this case!
Will we soon see Sherine back on the field Sandy-style?
