Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab is currently trying to divide her time shooting the final scenes of her upcoming drama series “Lika Ala Al Hawa” and “Mahmoud Al Masri” in the hope of completing them in time to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan (Muslim fasting month). In the drama “Mahmoud Al Masri” Summaya plays the role of a Greek young lady named Katrina alongside Egyptian actors Mahmoud Abdul Aziz, Hisham Salim, Ghada Abdul Rizik and others.
According to the London based Elaph, in “Lika Ala Al Hawa” Summaya acts alongside Egyptian prominent actress Yusra and she plays the role of Nancy who works at the same radio station as Yusra. Summaya’s role in the drama is one based on going from rags to riches a matter that makes her try to forget her past and begins her vengeance against everyone around her. Summaya focus most of her hatred towards Yusra in the drama and tries to hurt her because she is very jealous of her achievements.
The actress revealed that she had accepted two do both acting jobs at the same time due to the fact that the roles are so interesting and will add tremendously to her acting career. Summaya revealed that she is seriously thinking of going into the world of music to add a singing career to her acting profession. The actress stressed that due to her busy schedule at the moment she will postpone recording the remaining songs of the album until the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan to hopefully release the album by Eid Al Fitr holiday.
Summaya announced that she has given her acceptance for a role in the new film, starring Egyptian actor Hani Ramzi, which is the first time the two costar alongside one another. Summaya recently returned from London after being on a vacation with her husband. The actress denied rumors that she had gotten a divorce and assured that she is happily married. –Albawaba.com
