Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone is scheduled to make a special visit to Lebanon after receiving an invitation from Hollywood producer Elie Samaha, who is the Chairman/CEO of Franchise Pictures, which has fast become one of the most prolific production and co-financing companies in the entertainment industry.

One of the main goals of Stallone's vist is to search for a Lebanese beauty, who has eastern features and perfects the English language, for his upcoming film.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Sylvester is looking forward to his visit to Lebanon, which he hopes will be a productive one. The actor stressed that he is looking for an actress for his upcoming film, and was advised that his search will be most fruitful in Lebanon.

Stallone has established worldwide recognition as an actor, writer and director since he played the title role in his own screenplay of Rocky, which won the Academy Award in 1976 for Best Picture. Winner of the People's Choice Award for Favorite Motion Picture Actor, Stallone was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the USA Academy of Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy Films.

The actor revealed that he is moving away from action films and is concentrating on more drama films, due to the fact that his age does not allow him to act in the same way he did in the past.

After emigrating from his native Lebanon in 1975, Samaha settled in New York, where he worked as a bouncer at the famed Studio 54. Samaha later relocated to Los Angeles, where his entrepreneurial spirit led to ownership of several ventures, from a chain of dry cleaners to the legendary Roxbury nightclub. It was at the club that he began forging relationships with many of the actors who would later star in his films.

Samaha has recently worked as a producer on Get Carter and Driven with Sylvester Stallone; The Pledge, starring Jack Nicholson and directed by Sean Penn; The Caveman’s Valentine starring Samuel L. Jackson; Angel Eyes with Jennifer Lopez and Heist, starring Gene Hackman and written and directed by David Mamet. –
