Egyptian actress Dalal Abdel Aziz has unveiled a TV series entitled Beitak Beitak (Your Home), which is being written especially for the couple Dalal and Samir Ghanem.

Abdel Aziz told the daily Al Sharq Al Awsat that the TV series was based on a radio series with the same title. The scenarist Ahmed Awad is rewriting the episodes to be ready for filming at the end of the theatre season, when Ghanem finishes performing his two plays.

“The series will be a family project, as my two daughters, Amal and Dina, will participate,” said Abdel Aziz.

The couple, Ghanem and Abdel Aziz, were supposed to meet in the play Do Re Me Fasulia, but she quit rehearsals protesting against her secondary role, which was later picked up by actress Mimi Jamal.

Abdel Aziz recently finished filming the TV series Raihat Al Ward (The Smile of Roses), along with Samir Sabri and Ghada Abdel Razzaq, which is currently being screened on Egyptian TV – Albawaba.com
