The success of bringing prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki back to the scenes, journalist Emad El Din Adeeb is placing great efforts in trying to convince prominent Egyptian actress Sharihan to come back to the spotlight. Emad is hoping to reach an agreement with Sharihan to have her star in a new television drama, through which will mark his second surprise to audience throughout the Arab world.

According to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Emad offered Sharihan a number of television scripts in order to have her choose the one most suitable for her. Sharihan is currently reading the scripts but has not given her approval to star in any until this moment.

Recently, director Ali Rajab’s attempted to convince Sharihan in turning her life’s journey into a movie, starting with her early beginnings as an actress until she was diagnosed with cancer, but all negotiations failed. Rajab stressed that Sharihan refused to agree to the idea saying that her life’s story is hers alone and she does not wish to expose it to the world.

Rajab added that he had done all the research needed to collect as much information about Sharihan and even was able to convince a production company to finance the film. Sharihan’s refusal to negotiate the matter further put an end to all of the director’s efforts.

Sharihan was recently in Paris to undergo several tests to ensure that her health condition is stable, a routine checkup she must perform every six months. After returning from France, the actress headed to Saudi Arabia to spend New Years Eve in the holy lands and performed the religious pilgrimage Umra.

Spending New Years in the holy lands has become a tradition with Sharihan, which she has been doing for the past five years. Sharihan’s family along with the medical team supervising her condition accompanied her to the pilgrimage.
