Lebanese singer Yuri Imrakadi is currently taking on a very hectic work load and is placing the final touches on his upcoming album “Ya Kassi”, which is scheduled for release during the summer season in June. The new album features ten new songs one of which is in the Egyptian accent and another in the Gulf accent, which is written by Sheikh Inhaian Bin Inhaian.
The singer is also scheduled to head off to Cairo to hold a press conference and talk about his first acting experience in the Egyptian film “Muntaha Al Litha”, in which he starred alongside Egyptian actresses Hanan Turk and Muna Shalabi. The first scenes of the film are scheduled to begin in April, and Yuri is to talk in the Egyptian accent.
According to the London based daily, Al Hayat, sources of the singer have revealed that Yuri is scheduled to travel to Hollywood to sign a contract with an American production company, which will assign a private consultant to all his entertainment activities. The company will also begin work with Yuri on a new album sung in English as well as organizing a tour for him around the US.
Imrakadi has recently signed a five-year contract with the music production company Rotana. The contract states that five albums are to be produced in addition to three music videos with the release of every album.
Rotana is also responsible for launching an intensive advertising campaigns to promote each album. Yuri will release the first album under Rotana during the summer season.
