Faruk Group Holding reveals plans to make Sulaymaniyah a desired destination within the Arab world

Faruk Group Holding, a group of companies with a diversified range of interests including telecommunications, cement, manufacturing, hotels, medical services, properties, construction and IT, recently revealed plans to make Sulaymaniyah a desired destination within the Arab world during the Arabian Travel Market 2011.
The group unveiled the new roadmap for Sulaymaniyah’s hospitality industry with various key hotel projects which includes Grand Millennium Sulaymaniyah, Copthorne Hotel Baranan and Copthorne Hotel and Spa.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool, Chairman of Faruk Group Holding said: “Iraq is a promising market; with more growth potential than any other market in the world is expected to have in the next 5 to 10 years. Our operations in Sulaymaniyah and will support not only our entry into the Iraq market but also the global business community.”
Grand Millennium Sulaymaniyah, Copthorne Hotel Baranan and Copthorne Hotel and Spa are major projects funded by more than US$ 400 Million invested in the hospitality industry alone.
