ALBAWABA - The capital of northeastern Iran's North Khorasan Province, Bojnord, was the epicenter of a 5.2 magnitude earthquake that was reported to have occurred on Sunday by the Seismological Center of the Institute of Geophysics at the University of Tehran.
The center said that "an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit the city of Bojnord, with its epicenter at a depth of 8 kilometers," according to Iranian media.
With coordinates of 37.35 degrees north latitude and 57.34 degrees east longitude, the earthquake struck around 16:00 local time.
As of right now, no reports of possible earthquake damage have been received.
