England secured the bronze medal and got a 6-4 win against France at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA, in the third-place match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match was open and attacking from both sides without any pressure, and 10 goals were scored. The first half saw complete control from England. However, the second half was different for France, and they came back into the game, but the English team kept attacking and secured the win.

Match Highlights and Goals

England opened the scoring early in the 3rd minute through Declan Rice. Ezri Konsa doubled the lead in the 18th minute. After that, Bukayo Saka added the third in the 37th minute, and Saka ended the first-half goal festival with a fourth goal in the 45th minute.

In the second half, France launched a heavy attack that resulted in their first goal by Kylian Mbappe in the 48th minute. Then, Bradley Barcola added the second in the 54th minute. Mbappe scored the third goal in the 66th minute, becoming the World Cup top scorer with 10 goals.

Malo Gusto made a foul inside the penalty area on Djed Spence, and the referee gave a penalty kick. Bukayo Saka stepped up to take it and scored his third personal goal and the fifth for England in the 87th minute.

Things did not end there. Ousmane Dembele scored a goal for France in the 96th minute. But before the end of the match, in the 98th minute, Jude Bellingham went one on one with the goalkeeper and scored the sixth goal for England.
