Rising Lebanese singer Maria has been admitted to hospital after being in a car accident in Beirut. Maria was driving her business manager’s Mercedes Benz when she encountered the accident that resulted in minor bruises and luckly no broken bones.
Maria has denied circulating rumors that she will sing a duet with Egyptian singer Ruby and considered the rumor a poor attempt to create some commotion. the singer is preparing to film her upcoming music video for the song “Bahibak A’d Eih” as well as preparing to launch her second album next month.
The business manager of Maria has denied that she was forced off stage in Egypt, after a request by head of the Egyptian Musician Association Saeed Al Jablawi was given to stop her. Maria’s manager revealed that a representative from the Association had come after she completed her performance and not during.
It was rumored that, known as the Corn Flakes singer, was put in a very humiliating situation as she was forced to stop her concert in Dream Park Cairo and was taken off stage in front of her audience. Head of the Egyptian Musician Association ordered her removal off stage due to the fact that she was holding a concert without obtaining a permit.
Rumors added that the situation had gotten worse when the singer was taken to the police station and had charges pressed against her for repeatedly taking part in different entertainment activities and singing in nightclubs around Egypt illegally.
