The Egyptian actress Somayah Al Khashab is getting ready to star in a new television drama series called “Mqadar OMaktoob” (Faith Is Written), written by Mahmoud Abu Zaid. The new series is about parents trying to adjust the genes of unborn babies, determining traits like eye color.
The new series asserts that parents should not interfere with God’s will.
Somayah plays the role of a poor woman who lost her family, including her husband when her home collapsed. Her poverty leads her to become a subject of the research for the perfect babies.
