Construction of viaduct on Oum Rebia River

Construction of a viaduct on the Oum Rbia river is planned until 2006 within the framework of third phase of the motorway Casablanca-El Jadida, which will connect Tnine-Chtouka to El Jadida. The viaduct, which will be the first of its kind on a national scale, is planned to be 449 meters in length. Mustapha Chikhi, the chief of the Motorway Department, noted that the viaduct will be equipped with a cleansing and protection system to preserve the environmental richness of the Oum Rebia River.
