Israeli forces arrest Palestinian teen, child in Jerusalem

The Israeli police detained a 17-year-old student and an 11-year-old boy from Jerusalem on Wednesday.

Witnesses told Ma'an that Israeli police detained Daliah Murad Muhammad Qarawi, 17, from Salah al-Din street in East Jerusalem while she was on her way home from school.

The Israeli police took Qarawi for interrogation at the police station on Salah al-Din street, claiming she sprayed a substance on a police vehicle.

Eleven-year-old Baraa Issam Shahin was also detained by Israeli police on Ein al-Luza street in Silwan and was taken to the Russian Compound detention center in West Jerusalem for interrogation.
