Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki yesterday announced that the Palestinians will give France the opportunity to achieve progress within its initiative to revive the peace process through hosting an international ministerial meeting.
"In the meantime, we will present any draft resolution at the UN," Malki told reporters in New York, where he is accompanying Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to sign the Paris Declaration on Climate Change.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault announced that his country will host an international ministerial meeting on May 30 to try to breathe life into the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
