ALBAWABA - A clip widely circulated of an Iranian drone making a direct strike on a warehouse which was already on fire, meaning it was hit minutes ago.
CNN confirmed the location of the viral clip, saying the footage appears to show an Iranian drone hitting a warehouse in an industrial area near Kuwait's Mina Abdullah port.
The video showed a Shahed drone heading toward the burning warehouse before crashing into it and causing a large explosion, CNN reported Wednesday. The clip also showed policemen and emergency teams responding to the attack and standing outside the facility.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Wednesday that it had targeted a U.S. military logistics and support center located in Bandar Abdullah, adding that the building was "set ablaze and destroyed." However, it remains unclear whether there was any U.S. connection to the building shown burning in the video.
Additionally, on Tuesday evening, Kuwaiti authorities announced putting out a fire that erupted following an Iranian attack; however, they didn't mention the location of the incident, as no extra information was provided.
On the other hand, the Iranian Ministry of Health said Wednesday that two women were killed and 250 others were injured due to the American escalation against the Islamic Republic.
Clashes and fights resumed between the United States and Iran after Washington attacked Tehran, following accusations that the latter targeted ships in the Strait of Hormuz. On the other hand, the IRGC responded by targeting American bases and facilities in the Gulf and Jordan.
