“Intensive meetings were held overnight in the Cypriot capital between French officials and Egyptian officials accompanying President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Nicosia where he took part in an Egyptian-Cypriot-Greek summit,” al-Akhbar daily quoted diplomatic sources as saying.
