In Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet, the warrior goddess for Upper Egypt is depicted as a lioness huntress, with a penchant for blood,often, portrayed as a woman with the head of a lioness, who was dressed in red, the color of blood. Uncannily, a psychiatrist testified that Omaima Nelson said she put on red shoes, a red hat and red lipstick before chopping up and cooking her husband's body, boiling the head.
