KADDB Investment Group concludes a successful participation at BRIDEX 2011 in Brunei

The KADDB Investment Group (KIG) and the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) concluded a successful participation at the 3^rd Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BRIDEX 2011) which has been held in Brunei during July 6^th – 9^th, 2011.

The Group's booth was honoured by the visit of HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, The Sultan of Brunei, as well as other officials of the Sultanate such as; the Deputy Minister of Defence, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the Deputy Commander of Land Forces for the RBAF, as well as various official delegations including, the Minister of Defence for Pakistan, the Qatari, Kuwaiti, Lebanese and Jordanian delegations. The booth was also visited by decision makers and key players in the defence industry worldwide.

The participation of the KADDB Investment Group is the second of its kind, as the Bureau has participated in BRIDEX in 2009 when the exhibition was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II along with His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. It is worth mentioning that Jordan is the only Arab country exhibiting in this exhibition.

The KIG booth displayed the RPG-32 “HASHIM from the Jordan Russian Electronic Systems Company, Jordan Advanced Remote Systems displayed the capabilities of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and the JP-RSTA Vehicle for Surveillance which people showed great interest in, as well as illustrative posters for CLS Jordan for the remanufacturing of electrical components and motors.

As for KADDB, the Mini Unmanned Ground vehicle (UGV) and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) were exhibited. Demonstrative videos were also displaying the capabilities of the Bureau's other projects and the other companies of the KADDB Investment Group.

The KADDB Investment Group values its participation in specialized international exhibitions, as 2011 witnessed participation in IDEX in Abu Dhabi as well as IDEF in Istanbul, and it is scheduled to participate in defence exhibitions in London, Beirut and Kuwait.
