Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam said that he was surprised by the popular revolution, led by Egypt’s youth, that successfully forced former Egyptian president Husni Mubarak from power on 12 February.

After seeing the persistence of the protesters and the movement, Imam said that he knew it was inevitable Mubarak would step down from power.

“I am impressed by the Egyptian youth that were successful in making their dream of freedom and democracy a reality,” said Imam.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Izzat Al Alali said that he was very grateful to see the revolution.

Actors Kareem Abd Al Aziz and Mohammad Saed said they are very proud to be Egyptian, especially after the revolution.

Several stars have sent their condolences to the families of those that lost their lives during the mass protests that took place across Egypt.
