Egyptian singer Angham has apologized to the director and cast of the new television drama “Fi Ghamdat Ayn” (In the blink of an eye) for not being able to complete filming her scenes due to the fact that must sing for the injured Libyan revolutionist being treated at one of the hospitals in Cairo to boost their self esteem.
Angham performed for the injured at the hospital and brought happiness to all those present who considered her actions as very honorable.
According to the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai, Angham said that she halted filming her scenes in her first television drama in order to bring smiles to the injured Libyans and while at the hospital she talked to most of them and congratulated them on their victory in defeating the regime of the late Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi.
Director of the drama Sameeh Al Naqqash has decided after the sudden halt of filming Angham’s scenes to take the remaining cast to Alexandria Egypt to film the scenes that do not include Angham. The drama is written by Fida Al Shandawili and stars Egyptian actress Dalia Al Buhairi.
