Lebanese singer Elissa has been chosen by the United Nations to fill the position of a Goodwill Ambassador. Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Al Ruwaished is also chosen along with Elissa for the position.
A press conference will be held in Dubai to announce the decision of the United Nations and present the singers with their responsibilities for the new positions.
On a different note, Elissa is scheduled to hold a live concert in Dubai at the Habtour Hotel and Resort alongside Iraqi singer Majed Al Muhandis. The concert will take place on Friday April 8. Elissa has begun choosing the songs to include in her upcoming album.
