The production company ‘EMI’ has announced that it has signed a contract with Lebanese singer Mariam Fares. Mariam will be launching her new gulf dialect album “Min Oyouni” and has set May 19 to be its release date.
According to the London based Elaph, the company has expressed its pleasure to be working with Mariam, who has since the beginning of her career been witnessing significant success. The company added that Mariam was able to spread her fame all around the Arab world and abroad.
Along with her singing career, Mariam was successful in making a name for herself in the acting world by taking part in the Lebanese film “Silina” and hosting the popular Egyptian riddles television program “Fawazeer Mariam”, which was aired last year during the month of Ramadan.
Mariam has filmed four music videos from the album “Min Oyouni”, which will be aired on different music satellite channels in the very near future. Mariam has worked with some of the most prominent poets and composers from different gulf countries, Iraq and Morocco to ensure that the album is of the highest standards.
