Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has announced her support for the protesters in Cairo’s Tahrir Square that are calling for a change in the government and vital changes in the Egyptian constitution.
Mass popular protests against Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak since 25 January may usher in a new leadership in Cairo.
Muna revealed that she is actively taking part in the protests and has joined the committees that have been formed to protect the streets of Egypt from looters and criminals.
Muna said that she is not afraid of the impact her political views might have on her acting career and potential filmmakers who are against the protests.
