Prominent Lebanese diva Sabah has expressed her joy at being honored at the seventh annual Dubai Film Festival and said that she was happy for the flattering remarks that were spoken on her behalf and about her achievements. Sabah did state that she was sad that she is unable to attend the festival due to her health situation, which is scheduled to take place between December 12 and 19.
According to the London based Elaph, Sabah revealed that a team from the festival’s organizers visited her at her home and took pictures of her in addition to filming a small speech by Sabah to be aired during the events of the festival.
Sabah stated that her deteriorating forbids her from travelling and going on planes, stressing that in the past she was always going from one flight to the next but now she is unable to do so.
