Jamal Anwar, manager of prominent Egyptian actress Sharihan, announced that the actress will not hold any interviews with the press to discuss past events, reported the London based Elaph.
Jamal did say that Sharihan is overwhelmed with excitement over the downfall of former Egyptian president Husni Mubarak and his regime, and is hopeful that Egypt will enter a new era of development and political freedom.
Sharihan participated in the recent protests that erupted across Egypt, starting 25 January and ending successfully on 11 February with Mubarak’s resignation. Sharihan was accompanied by her daughter during the protests in Cairo’s Tahrir Square and was warmly welcomed by protesters.
Sources claim that Sharihan knows many secrets about Mubarak’s son, Alaa Mubarak, that have been kept secret for years.
