The Egyptian financial court has found Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab innocent of recent lawsuit filed against her by the production company ‘Alam El Fan’. The company had sued the singer for singing a portion of the song “Bi Tunis Beek”, which rightfully belongs to ‘Alam El Fan’, without taking permission to do so.
An official release from the production company ‘Rotana’, which the singer is a member of, stated that the court found Shireen innocent and she has the right to sing a portion of any song she pleases according to the law as long as she does not claim the rights to the song. The court verdict also included ridding Shireen of another sentence fining her of 500 thousand Egyptian pounds for a similar case.
Shireen has expressed her over joy at the court verdict and prayed that this is the end of the war and lawsuits against her by ‘Alam El Fan’.
