An Egyptian newspaper has accused Egyptian singer Tamer Husni of taking advantage of the current crisis in Tunisia for his own personal gain.
The accusations were made against the singer after he released a new song on the internet titled “Shuhada’uk ya Tunis Al Khadra” (Your Martyr Green Tunisia) shortly after the fall of the Bin Ali regime.
Tamer expressed his feelings about the events in Tunisia in the song, concentrating on those who lost their lives fighting for their freedom at the hands of Tunisian police during their protests against the harsh economic conditions.
