The situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain is at a ''very dangerous stage'', the country's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa told Turkish TV channel NTV Wednesday. "What is happening in Bahrain is now at a very dangerous stage. There is stability but, we are absolutely afraid of the division between religious communities," Al-Khalifa conveyed.

Bahrain, which is ruled by the Sunni Al-Khalifa royal family, has been rocked by Shiite-led demonstrations.

"In the whole region we should have a strategic agreement on how we would proceed in this transformation process," he said.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Speaker Ali Larijan stated that Muslims should not be silent about "crimes," especially the repression by the Saudi and UAE forces against the rights of the Bahraini people. Larijani said that the recent events that took place in Bahrain were "very painful" and that Muslims can not keep silent towards these crimes in the region. He added he believed that the Americans supplied the UAE and Saudi Arabia with weapons to fire on the Muslim people of Bahrain.

Larijani stressed that the practices carried out by those countries will not go without a response and would face the wrath of Muslims. According to the Iranian official, America originally opposed the revolutions in Tunisia and other countries because they did not serve its goals, but after these revolutions reached their peak America has changed its positions and pretended to support thr rebellious peoples.
