The other poverty we must fight in the Arab World

I define "intellectual poverty" as the lack of resources and tools that help people satisfy their intellectual curiosity – in the same way that "poverty" is the lack of resources that help people address their basic life needs.

Young Egyptians want to leave their country, including for fictitious states like "Liberland"
Czech politician Vít Jedlička, member of the libertarian Party of Free Citizens, garnered media attention when he announced the birth of Europe’s “newest” country, Liberland, on April 13. A self-proclaimed micro-nation of seven square kilometers between Serbia and Croatia, Liberland is a virtual “state” with a website and a Facebook page, which has failed to obtain recognition from any sovereign country. Somehow, though, it has managed to catch the attention of young Egyptians.
