Jordanian actress Mais Hamdan has been accused of insulting Egyptians and demeaning Egyptian girls describing them as having bad reputations through her current program “100 Masa”, which is being aired on the main Egyptian television channel.
It was said that Mais had made an inappropriate joke when she gave young men the advice that if a girl says a particular person is her first admirer she is lying implying that most girls have been in numerous relationships and only pretend they are innocent girls.
A group of Egyptians have launched a campaign through a facebook page under the name of “No to Mais Hamdan and her insults to Egyptians through her show 100 Masa” and are now collecting signatures on a petition demanding that her show be stopped.
