The Dow Chemical Company, a global leader in science and technology, has contributed US$50,000 towards the relief work of the Red Crescent Society in Lebanon.

The AED185,000 donation will be used by the Red Crescent Society to repair vital infrastructure, including water pumps and generators to ensure hospitals can maintain their operations and communities can continue recovering.

Commenting on the donation, Dow Regional President for India, the Middle East and Africa (IMEA), Earl Shipp said; “Our commitment to supporting the communities where we are present is deeply embedded in Dow’s corporate culture. The Red Crescent Society is a very active organisation and provides assistance to those in need, regardless of nationality, religious belief or political persuasion.”
