Four men suspected of being members of an armed gang which ran amok in a southern Jordanian city last year gave themselves up to the authorities on Tuesday, according to Petra news agency.
The official news agency reported that the four - Majdi and Bilal Kreishan, Omar Abu Hlala and Mohammad al-Rowad - were the last on a list of suspects being sought by Jordanian police authorities.
The men are alleged to have been key figures in the unrest in the city of Ma'an in November 2002, which police said was sparked by a group led by notorious radical Mohammad Shalabi.
Six people, including a soldier and a policeman, were killed in Ma'an when the army launched a crackdown to arrest what it claimed were "armed bandits". (Albawaba.com)
