Israel's new ambassador to Jordan, Yakov Hadas Handelsmen, presented his credentials on Sunday to Jordanian King Abdullah II at a ceremony at the Raghadan royal palace, according to Petra news agency.

Handelsman, who arrived last week in Jordan to replace David Dadon, is Israel's fourth ambassador to Jordan since the two countries signed a peace treaty in October 1994.

He was appointed to the post in February. (Albawaba.com)
