Prince Misha'al Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Jeddah Province, has today (Monday, June 7, 2010) inaugurated Cityscape Jeddah 2010, the largest real estate investment and development event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The real estate fair will run until June 9, 2010 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events and will include more than 100 local and regional property investors, developers and service providers who will exhibit their products and services within 10,000 sqm of prime exhibition space.
Apart from the Kingdom's premier real estate exhibition, Cityscape Jeddah 2010 will feature the annual Saudi Arabia Real Estate Investment and Development Conference, which will adopt the theme 'Transparency, Investment Models and Future Partnerships.' Over 40 CEO-level speakers will talk about key industry issues and trends while more than 200 senior-level delegates will participate in 12 special panel sessions during the event.
The 2ndCityscape Awards for Real Estate in Saudi Arabia will also take place tonight to recognize the highest achievements in the Saudi property sector and reward those companies that have excelled within their field.
The three-day event being held under the patronage of HRH Prince Misha'al Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz is approved by the KSA Ministry of Commerce and Industry and supported by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"There is a very positive outlook for Saudi real estate this year given the country's strong economy, growing demand for residential housing, and huge government funding for key infrastructure developments. Cityscape Jeddah 2010 will gather all property development and investment opportunities across the country under one roof, within a city that is being re-developed to maintain its status as a commercial and cultural hub, to maximize on the country's resilient real estate market," added Deep Marwaha, Director of Cityscape Jeddah.
Cityscape Jeddah 2010 complements a 20-year local re-development programme covering the central and historic districts of Jeddah, the second largest city in Saudi Arabia and the 'Gateway City' to the holiest Islamic sites. The inaugural show in 2009 welcomed over 80 exhibiting companies from 40 countries and received more than 8,900 international and regional visitors.
