Egypt's eg.samsungmobile.com, a website from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider, announces the launch of the Samsung World Cup Competition. eg.samsungmobile.com is hosting a trivia game in which subscribers, who log in each day during the World Cup tournament will be given a question to answer about what is happening in the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
"The Samsung World Cup Competition is our latest interactive initiative with customers, giving them a chance to score goals and win while watching the 2010 FIFA World Cup™," Mr. Duke Park, General Manager of the Samsung Cairo Office commented. "Football fans can put their spectator skills to use in this online trivia game and potentially win one of Samsung's innovative, new mobiles."
Egypt's eg.samsungmobile.com will send out thousands of SMS' to already subscribed users introducing the launch of the World Cup Competition and those who are not already members, who would like to participate, can register on http://eg.samsungmobile.com. The Competition will last from June 11th until July 11th, 2010 and each round of the football tournament will represent a different level of the Samsung. At the end of the tournament, the top ten high-scorers will receive free mobile phones from Samsung.
For example, the Group Stage will last for fifteen days and run from the 11th until the 25th of June, each day's question is worth three points if answered correctly, with an extra two points awarded to those who answer the question within 30 seconds. Each level's questions will be intermittently more difficult than the last and the top three scorers will receive a brand new Wave mobile, which boasts Samsung's new Bada technology and the subsequent seven top-scorers will receive brand new Samsung Monte mobile phones.
Please note the questions will be selected randomly and each subscriber will only have the opportunity to answer one question per day.
