Six people were killed, two reported missing and an estimated 30 injured after violent storms hit eastern Algeria, the country's media reported on Sunday.
Heavy rains and winds topping 130 kilometres per hour swirled through the region overnight Friday to Saturday.
The storm caused serious damage to houses, roads and power lines across the country's east, with heavy rains bringing a train off the tracks near the town of Constantine. (Albawaba.com)
