Up to three civilians were confirmed dead after a missile fired by terrorist Iranian-Houthi militias targeted Saudi Arabia's city of Jazan, the coalition fighting to restore legitimacy in Yemen has said.

The coalition stressed that it will strike with an iron fist all those who threaten the safety and security in Saudi Arabia.

The official Spokesman of the coalition, Col. Turki Al Malki, said that at 2:55 local time, the southern Region Operations Center announced that terrorist Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeted civilians with a projectile, which resulted in the death of three civilians in the Jazan Governorate, SPA reported.

“The projectile was launched deliberately to target civilians. These senseless actions of the terrorist Iranian-Houthi militia fall under hostile acts against civilians,” Malki said.

“The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will strike with an iron fist all those who threaten the safety and security of Saudi nationals, residents and critical capabilities,” the spokesperson added.
