ALBAWABA - The Paris Olympics are once again the talk of social media after photos of Egypt vs Spain beach volleyball uniforms swarmed the internet with people debating the difference between the two.
Both uniforms drew attention for different reasons as Spain's uniform was considered by some to be "too revealing" while Egytp's ones were seen as "too covered up" with reasons like, "Poor women, wearing all black, and covered up from head to toe at a beach volleyball match under the sun."

Many users took to Egypt's side and defended their uniform and culture. On the other hand, a user judged both sides and said, "Because both sides have silly rules regarding the female body..."
Another wrote, "Perhaps something in between would be a good compromise?" They then showcased in the next tweet a photo of what they meant by "In between."
They added that men can wear t-shirts and shorts as their beach volleyball uniforms so why can't women also wear the same thing?
Recently France tried to ban the Hijab in the country angering human rights activists worldwide and was judged for contradicting itself for talking about gender equality.
Amnesty's Anna Błuś said, "It shows Muslim women that when the French authorities talk about equality between men and women, they don't see them as women. They don't count them."
Since Apr. 11, 2011, it's illegal to wear a face-covering veil or other masks in public spaces in France including the Burqa which some Muslim women wear for religious purposes. A Burqa is a scarf used to cover the whole face and the body except the eyes.
