ALBAWABA - A photo of a church decorated from the external with the colors of the LGBTQ+ Pride flag has caused a storm on social media.
The country of the place of the country where the alleged church is located was not detailed at all, raising suspicions regarding the reality of the photo.
The picture was posted by Jake Shields along with the caption: "Why are churches doing this? I’m not even religious and I find this highly offense."
He added: "It’s clear in the Bible that homosexuality is a sin so this is an attack on Christianity from within."
Despite that many were attacking what they called "modern Christianity" for normalizing LGBTQ+, many others commented on social media saying that the photo of the church which is decorated with the Pride flag was probably an edited picture or AI-generated.
An X user said: "This is why modern Christianity is meaningless. A religion that hunts with hounds and runs with hares. No steadfast convictions. Just globalist drivel."
A person wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "It almost looks photoshopped or computer generated." Another said: "Bro that is literally ai."
Pope Francis made a statement in 2023 declaring that "Being homosexual isn't a crime".
