ALBAWABA - A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) captured the moment a truck carrying husk overturned on an SUV and crushed it in the town of Rampur, India.
According to NDTV, the horrifying footage was captured on a CCTV camera and flooded several social media platforms. The incident specifically occurred at the Pahadi Gate intersection on the Rampur-Nainital Highway.
The SUV attempted to cut through by turning right, causing the truck to hit part of the intersection, overturn, and completely crush the vehicle. According to several reports, the person driving the SUV was killed during the accident.

Several teams, including police officers, the fire brigade, and ambulance personnel, were deployed to the scene. A crane also arrived at the scene to lift the truck off the SUV.
The incident in question sparked debate on social media among Indian netizens who voiced their concern regarding safety on the road, as many called for safer highways and traffic rules.
A social media user wrote on X, "This happens in places where you can buy a driver’s license instead of earning it through proper tests and practice."
Another added, "The overloading of that truck looks dangerous. It’s not just about the driver’s fault, the system that allows such overloading needs a serious overhaul."
