ALBAWABA - A video has caused wide controversy on social media of a Lebanese man torturing and throwing a cat from the third floor while laughing and joking about it.
According to activists, the Lebanese man along with other friends are "proudly" taking a video of themselves torturing a cat and acting happily about it to share their videos on TikTok and social media.
Many said that the videos are being posted online to gain views and social media interaction in order to become famous and get more followers.
Animal rights activists called the Lebanese authorities to take action and arrest the man in the viral video, who was allegedly identified as G. D. from Tripoli, Lebanon.
Ghina Nahfawi, an animal rights activist, posted the video on her X account and wrote: "This sick, his crime must be stopped, he must be held accountable, investigated, and the exact location of the cat must be known because people are willing to search for it and save it. Currently, I have no idea about the fate of the cat. The accounts of this criminal idiot are in the video."

A person commented: "Can someone do the same to him please?" Another added: "Please, if anyone knows the fate of the cat, please tell us."
On the other hand, Lebanese Singer Cyrine Abdelnour reposted the video and said: "Without conscience, this person lacks humanity and emotion, that's why he is called a narcissistic criminal, and on top of the blow, the one who is with him is stupid!!!!"
