ALBAWABA - Brazilian bodybuilder José Matheus Silva tragically passed away after suffering a heart attack while training at a gym, Spanish newspaper Marca reported.
Silva, 28, collapsed unexpectedly and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful.
According to Marca, Silva had been supervising young athletes at the gym and had not engaged in intense physical activity before the sudden cardiac arrest.
Silva’s notable achievements in bodybuilding included securing 9th place in the 2018 South American Championship and 11th place in the Arnold Classic South America in 2017.
His brother, Thiago, dismissed rumors linking Silva's death to steroid use, emphasizing that he had been in good health. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Thiago bid farewell to his brother, wishing him eternal peace.
