"They have nothing but cash, right?... They buy a lot from us, $450 billion they bought.”

A video for US President Donald Trump affirming his support for Saudi Arabia in a rally at Wisconsin has been circulating the Internet.

In a rally with his supporters, Trump complained about the people who demand his administration to cut off Saudi Arabia. He says: “You had people wanting to cut off Saudi Arabia ... I don't want to lose them,” affirming Riyadh's purchases from US companies reaching to the tune of $450 billion.

During the rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Trump confirms his support to the “rich” Saudis while the crowds around him cheered.

In one of the rally videos, Trump narrates how he called up Saudi King Salman “he never got something like it for the US in 25 years”.

He goes on to say: “I said we are losing our ass defending you and you have a lot of money…” He [King Salman] said why would he be calling me, no one had ever made such a call before,” and the crowd cheered him.

The video has been widely shared on social media as it comes at a time when the US has been criticized the most over its support for Saudi Arabia in its war on Yemen and for its human rights violations.
