ALBAWABA - After a Russian missile attack, 7-year-old Yehor Zavadetsky died in the "Okhmatdyt" hospital in Kyiv. His mother told "Vikna." on social media that Holyn native Yehor died after 12 days in a coma.

"Our baby son died. Yegorchyk is gone forever. He was 7 "Mother posted online. Since June 20, the youngster had suffered liver, brain, and eye damage from a bicycle accident. After numerous complex procedures at "Okhmatdyt," Yehor's health remained serious, causing a protracted coma.

Yehor's liver suffered most from his cycling accident. Kyiv doctors told us part of his liver needed to be removed. He was aware and alert for two days following the nine-hour procedure. However, a blood clot required another 2.5-hour operation. He needed a blood transfusion when his heart stopped "his mother said.

Yehor was in the hospital's dialysis unit when the rocket hit. He and his mother were taken to the Kyiv Cardiocenter after the incident, where he died on July 12.

On July 10, another youngster in critical care died from the same Russian missile hit on "Okhmatdyt," the first child casualty from the July 8 incident. Viktor Lyashko, Ukrainian health minister, confirmed the death.

Despite strong evidence, Russian President Vladimir Putin denies involvement in the children's hospital assault. Russia only attacks military facilities, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

The Financial Times noted that the attack's Russian Kh-101 missile included Western components, showing that the Kremlin continues to defy Western sanctions.
