ALBAWABA - Mercenaries from the United States were allegedly said to be spotted on the ground in Gaza fighting along with the Israeli armed forces.
Allegations circulated on social media claiming the presence of American mercenaries from the Forward Observations Group (FOG) in the Gaza Strip, reportedly fighting against the Hamas military group.
Posts were shared online showing videos and photos belonging to the FOG members with captions claiming that the US mercenaries were fighting to help the Israeli army.
FOG released on its official Instagram account showing some of its members amid ruins which many alleged they were taken in Gaza. It is worth mentioning that US mercenaries are fighting along with the Ukrainian army against Russian forces who announced a "special military" operation in Kyiv in 2022.
Nonetheless, a probe by Sanad Agency shared by AJ+ Arabic has also supported the presence of US mercenaries in the Gaza Strip fighting on the side of occupation forces.
Another picture went viral on social media showing a bag with a military uniform and the American flag printed on the vest inside along with the location "Tel Aviv, Israel" seen on the top of the image.
